Little, Brown Book Group has announced a partnership with award-winning education charity, Future Frontiers.
Future Frontiers’ mission is to provide young people from disadvantaged backgrounds with the guidance, networks and opportunities they need to fulfil their potential at school, in further education and in employment.
From January, 15 volunteers from Little, Brown Book Group and Hachette UK’s central departments will be offering students careers advice and coaching them in the pathways to get there.
Tamsin Kitson, group publicity and marketing director at Little, Brown Book Group, who set up the partnership said: “The work that Future Frontiers does with students from disadvantaged backgrounds is completely inspiring. Its research has shown that personalised guidance and access to networks and role models can be transformational – both in motivating pupils to achieve at school and in reducing the numbers of pupils not in education, employment or training.
